Do you need a Motorsports Permit?

Follow the steps below to find out if you qualify for a motorsports permit.

To qualify for a motorsports permit, you must be going to an Automobile Competition Committee for the United States (ACCUS) sanctioned event at one of the locations currently authorized per CVC 35401.5 (g). Refer to the ACCUS Motorsports Locations (PDF) for a list of qualifying locations. If you are not going to any of those locations, a motorsports permit is not available. However, a permit may be issued for out of state events or returning from out of state events. If you are going to a qualified location or going to/coming back from an out of state event, please follow Step 2 below.
