Construction Project Funding Identification Signs
The Construction Project Funding Signs can be used with a total contract cost of more than $1,000,000 and 60 working days.
The C48A (CA) sign can be used on projects funded by State Highway Funds (Rebuilding California Funds) and no Federal Trust Funds. Up to four additional funding agency pictographs may be added to the sign for projects with local funds to recognize city, county, and regional municipal planning organizations as funding partners identified by the project manager.
The C49A (CA) sign can be used on projects funded by State General Funds (Clean California Funds) only. Up to four additional funding agency pictographs may be added to the sign for projects with local funds to recognize city, county, and regional municipal planning organizations as funding partners identified by the project manager.
The C49C (CA) sign can be used on projects funded by State General Funds (Clean California Funds), and Sate Highway Funds (Rebuilding California Funds) only.
The C50A (CA) and C50B (CA) sign can be used on projects funded by Federal Trust Funds (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) funding). Up to three additional funding agency pictographs may be added to the sign for projects with local funds to recognize city, county, and regional municipal planning organizations as funding partners identified by the project manager.
Examples of C50B (CA):
The C51 (CA) sign can be used on projects funded by Local Funds only. Up to four additional funding agency pictographs may be added to the sign for projects having other local funds to recognize the city, county, and regional municipal planning organizations helping the main local agency funding the project.

- Conventional Highways: 96” x 60” (8 ft x 5 ft)
- Local Roadways: 48” x 30” (4 ft x 2.5 ft)
