Project Management Oversight


Caltrans’ Office of Project Management Oversight (OPMO) prepares and executes funding agreements with local agencies and FHWA for Local Assistance projects. Other responsibilities include:

  • Authorization for local agencies for federally funded local assistance projects processing.
  • Request for allocations and fund transfers for local assistance STIP projects processing.
  • Interpretation and implementation of policy and procedures for the local assistance implementation process.
