Project Eligibility
Each year, the CPUC evaluates railway-highway crossings on public roads that could benefit from improvements funded by the Section 130 Program and creates a Section 130 Priority List based on, but not limited to:
- Accident history
- Vehicle and train volumes
- Pedestrian issues
- Geometry.
- Diagnostic site visits
