California Cross Agency Asset Management Forum

The California Cross Agency Asset Management Forum is dedicated to sharing and developing best asset management practices with California federal, state, city and county engineers, project managers, public works officials and executives, academia, and consultants who work with State and Local agencies.  If you would like to propose a topic or get in touch with the organizer please email CT-TAM@dot.ca.gov. 

Purpose of the Forum

The purpose of the Forum is to establish ongoing discussions and presentations intended to improve asset management practices across participating California agencies.  This forum is sponsored by Caltrans, California Transportation Commission, Federal Highway Administration, and City and County Public Works professionals.  The Forum is for information sharing purposes and not federal or state policy enforcement.

Goals of the Forum

  • Provide an ongoing forum to discuss a variety of asset management topics
  • Receive guidance on target setting and Transportation Performance Management topics
  • Host asset management presentations from California and national leaders
  • Build your network of professionals across all levels of transportation agencies in California
  • Share best practices from agencies across California
  • Development of a broader network of peers and cross agency collaboration
