Partners
California is developing an AV Strategic Framework, under the leadership of California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA), including the publication of Autonomous Vehicles Strategic Framework Vision & Guiding Principles by CalSTA.
Caltrans will leverage existing partnerships with the federal government, other state departments of transportation, local and state agencies, including CalSTA, California Highway Patrol, California Air Resources Board, California Public Utilities Commission, the Department of Finance, industry leaders, and labor and community stakeholders, with the potential of adding new private sector partners, such as original equipment manufacturers and AV technology companies.
