The Commercial Wholesale Web Portal2 (CWWP2) is designed to provide real-time travel Information to be used by commercial, media Information Service Providers (ISPs), agencies and the public.
Caltrans recognizes ISPs as experts in media and customer needs and are better able to widely distribute travel information to businesses and the public. Caltrans anticipates ISPs will use the information made available through the CWWP2 to support Caltrans’ mission to “provide a safe, sustainable, integrated and efficient transportation system to enhance California’s economy and livability.”
Caltrans intends to maximize the widespread distribution of travel information, providing travelers with access to real-time travel information to make informed choices on transportation modes and routes.
