Road Trippin': State Route 128 in its entirety

California boasts an abundance of scenic roadways, including this gem north of the Bay Area. It starts in the Central Valley, winds past Lake Berryessa -- which is especially verdant in the spring -- to the Napa Valley wine region, then traverses intimately through coastal-redwood forests before culminating at an inlet of the Pacific Ocean.
