SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — Travelers will encounter daytime one-way reversing traffic control on Highway 41 between Atascadero and Morro Bay beginning Monday, September 21.
Drivers can expect traffic control with a flagger and pilot car from 9 am to 3 pm on Highway 41 from Los Altos Rd. in Atascadero to Bear Ridge Rd. in Morro Bay. Crews will be performing shoulder backing work which will create a smooth, level surface along the shoulder that allows drivers to safely steer back onto the highway.
Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of the areas under traffic control. Travelers may experience delays of up to 15 minutes. The project is expected to be completed by the end of September.
