Caltrans will begin a vegetation control project in Monterey County along US 101 beginning Monday, August 10.

Travelers on Highway 9 will encounter daytime and overnight one-way reversing traffic control Monday through Friday at multiple locations during the week of August 10.

Travelers will encounter a lane shift on Highway 1 at the intersection of 24th street. Traffic control will be in place Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm as crews address the drainage system and repair a culvert.

Travelers will encounter two more nights of full overnight closures of the southbound US 101 on-ramp at Highway 58 in Santa Margarita.

Travelers in both directions of Highway 46, east of the Highway 41/46 junction, will encounter overnight one-way reversing traffic control beginning Sunday, August 9.


Daytime one-way reversing traffic control will take place along Highway 1 near Big Creek Bridge starting the week of August 10.

As students in the San Lorenzo Valley make their return to school on Thursday, August 6, Caltrans will continue working on the Felton Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project on Highway 9.

Travelers will encounter lane closures on southbound US 101 and Theatre Drive in Paso Robles next week.
