Daytime One-Way Traffic Control on Highway 1 Near Torre Canyon Bridge Set to Begin October 13
MONTEREY COUNTY — Travelers will encounter daytime one-way traffic control on Highway 1 near Torre Canyon Bridge beginning Tuesday, October 13.
Crews will remove rocks and brush from slopes above the highway as part of post-fire slope stabilization efforts.
Work will result in one-way traffic control Monday through Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm. Work was originally scheduled for six days each week and is now seven days each week. Work in the Torre Canyon Bridge area is expected to be completed in approximately five weeks.
Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of the areas under traffic control. Travelers may experience delays of up to 20 minutes.
