Comments Probably the most cost effective product, considering the full life-cycle cost. Requires "leave-out" section at guard rail and end treatment posts. Placement and compaction under and around existing features may increase price and decrease life cycle. If possible native plant material should be propagated from locally collected seed. Proper site preparation, duff preservation and long term establishment are important for success. Proper base design and preparation is necessary to prevent cracking and subsequent weed growth. Matching color and pattern for repairs is difficult. Preferred placement behind curbs or with other edge restraints. Base design is important for correct load bearing capacity. Include soil sterilization under treatment.
