California Transportation Foundation scholarship winners announced

Since its founding in 1988, the California Transportation Foundation (CTF) has awarded more than $1.1 million in scholarships. To qualify for these scholarships, recipients must be intent on a career in transportation, and be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or documented, international students. Each scholarship has additional qualifications, which can be found on CTF’s website (www.transportationfoundation.org). Last year the foundation awarded scholarships to 82 students. Here are a few of the most recent recipients:

Congratulations to three $5,000 Heckeroth Scholarship winners: Henry Hammel, Marisa Davini and Jared Chrisman. Also, congrats to Bryan Esparza, the $5,000 Education Symposium Scholarship winner.

The $1,500 Bimla Rhinehart Memorial Scholarship Award went to Vanessa See, an undergrad civil engineering student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Congratulations to Kelsey Ewing from Buchanan High School in Clovis, for winning a $2,000 Partnered Caltrans Central Valley District 6 Employee Family Scholarship.
