Complete Streets Advisory Committee

With the inception of the Caltrans Statewide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan: Toward an Active California in 2017 and the Mode Share Action Plan 2.0 in 2020, District 7 identified a need for regular input from a diverse membership representing walk,  bike, and multimodal interests for all ages and abilities within the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

The Complete Streets Advisory Committee (CSAC) was established in 2023 to provide strategic input and recommendations to support achievement of walk and bike safety objectives, as well guidance towards the implementation of the District 7 Caltrans Active Transportation (CAT) Plan. The Committee’s primary role is to serve as a conduit to establish a better line of communication between Caltrans District 7 and the diverse multimodal communities in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The committee is guided by the CSAC charter, which outlines the purpose, goals, other committee details.
