Daytime Lane Closures Set for US 101 and Highway 25 in San Benito County for Guardrail Repair Work
SAN BENITO COUNTY — Travelers will encounter daytime lane closures at various locations in San Benito County on US 101 and Highway 25. beginning on Wednesday, September 23.
These lane reductions will allow Caltrans to perform guardrail maintenance work on the following dates and at the following locations from 9 am to 2 pm:
- Wednesday, September 23: Northbound US 101 #2 (right) lane at Anzar Road near McAlpine Lake & Park.
- Thursday, September 24: Southbound US 101 #2 (right) lane at San Benito River Bridge just north of Hwy. 129.
- Friday, September 25: Southbound State Route 25 at the Santa Clara County line with one way traffic control.
Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of these lane closures. Travelers can expect delays of up to 10 minutes. Please allow extra time for your commute through the area.
