‘CRUZIN’ FOR LIFE’ BENEFIT PARADE TO RESULT IN CLOSURE OF HIGWAY 135 IN SANTA MARIA FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY — Travelers will encounter a full closure of Highway 135 (Broadway) in Santa Maria on Friday, September 25 for the 19th Annual Cruzin’ for Life Benefit Parade.
The closure will be in place from 4 pm to 10 pm between Main Street and Stowell Road.
Detour signs will direct traffic to Main Street, Miller Street, and Stowell Road. Turn-lane and local street restrictions will be in place near Cook Street, Morrison Avenue, Thornburg Street, and Stowell Road.
Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of the areas under traffic control. Travelers may experience delays of up to 5 minutes. Please allow additional travel time and use alternate routes when possible.
Cruzin’ for Life is a non-profit community of individuals who have been touched by cancer-patients, survivors, families, friends, and coworkers.
