Agency Name Project Title Project Description
City of Oakland Courtland Creek Restoration Project will restore 140,000 square feet of public park by stabilizing creek banks to protect properties, improve riparian habitat, and remove litter. It will also install anti-littering signage, additional waste containers, and accessible seating, trail surfacing, curb ramps, gathering places, and a creek overlook.
City of Oakland Oakland Mini Parks Beautification
Project will beautify nine mini parks in Oakland, installing barbecue pits, drinking fountains, play structures, shade trees, and trash cans.
Alameda County District Attorney's Office Alameda County District Attorney's Clean Streets Initiative Project will provide continuous litter removal services at encampments in Oakland and Hayward.
City of Richmond Richmond Communities Clean Collaborative Project will redesign Boorman Park, changing the layout for safety and ease of maintenance. It will also transform an unpaved alley along 7th Street into a sidewalk and bicycle facility. Finally, the project will include small neighborhood cleanup projects throughout the city.
City of San Pablo San Pablo Old Town Pocket Park & Illegal Dumping Outreach Project will transform a vacant lot into a neighborhood park and includes a public outreach campaign to inform residents about the impacts of litter and debris.
City of Pittsburg Living Green Pittsburg - Trail and Community Outreach Project
Project will create green space and a trail that leads to the transit center, replacing a vacant, overgrown lot plagued by illegal dumping.
City of Vallejo Lake Dalwigk Park Improvements Project will enhance community connection through11 decoratively stamped crosswalks, the installation drought tolerant landscaping, and the replacement of a broken concrete pedestrian path.
SF Municipal Transportation Agency South of Market (SoMa) Transit Gardens Connection Project Project includes litter abatement and cleanup activities along with the planting of drought-tolerant landscaping along 4th and 3rd Streets near the Yerba Buena/Moscone Center transit station. It will also include the installation of two community murals.
City of Berkeley Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park - Turtle Garden Project Project will convert an existing defunct fountain at Civic Center Park into a native and drought-tolerant plant pollinator garden. It will also install Native-designed bronze turtle and concrete medallion sculptures, seating on the fountain outer ring of the fountain, benches, signage, and trash receptacles. Finally, the project will renovate the uneven flagstone terrace and the Peace Wall tiles.
Kashia Band of Pomo Indians Cleanup and Beautification of Kashia Tribal Lands Project will remove litter from Stewarts Point Rancheria and restore the area to a clean livable state. It will also remove a large fence from the Kashia Coastal Reserve property along Highway 1.
City of Pittsburg Reviving the Heart of Pittsburg Pride
Project will implement landscape and park improvements along a local corridor leading to the historic downtown area. Improvements include art installations, a gateway monument, and a new park.
City of Hayward Stack Center Site Work and Plaza Project will demolish existing parking lots, chain-link fence, and dilapidated structures around a community center to create a community event plaza, an “eco-island” bioretention area, a play area for an affordable childcare center, and reconfigured parking with trees, drought-tolerant landscaping, and modern accessibility features.
City of Richmond Yellow Brick Road: Clean, Green & Beautiful Project will install street lighting, litter abatement facilities, wayfinding and placemaking signage, and public art elements along 8th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in the City of Richmond.
City of South San Francisco
The Centennial Tail Outdoor Recreation and Education Enhancement
Project will transform an undeveloped patch of land into a community recreation and education space for underserved youth through the installation of trash cans, bike racks, shade structures, picnic tables, interpretive panels, enhanced lighting and landscaping, and a pet waste section.
Contra Costa County Contra Costa County Illegal Dumping Initiative Project includes the renovation of the Montalvin Park Sports Court, a two-year graffiti abatement program, the installation of litter abatement signage and surveillance cameras to monitor illegal dumping hotspots, a countywide cleanup event, and a six-month countywide public education campaign.
City of Gilroy Gourmet Alley and Railroad Street Beautification and Litter Abatement Project will renovate and beautify two pedestrian-only alleyways in downtown Gilroy. It will also include a public litter and debris cleanup events facilitated by the cities.
