Rural VMT
Rural Subcommittee
The SB 743 Implementation Working Group Rural VMT Action Subcommittee was formed in May 2025 to develop a response to CAPTI 2.0 Key Action S2.2, which aims to improve guidance for VMT analysis and mitigation options for projects on the State Highway System (SHS) within rural areas in California. This stakeholder working group is a subcommittee to the ongoing Caltrans-LCI SB 743 Implementation Working Group.
