LOS ANGELES – Caltrans crews will close the Avenue 60 off-ramp on northbound Arroyo Seco Parkway/State Route 110 (SR-110) near downtown Los Angeles beginning at 11:59 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23.
The Avenue 60 off-ramp will be closed for the duration of work in the first phase of this location, which is expected to last through the spring.
Motorists traveling northbound on SR-110 should plan to use either the Marmion Way/Avenue 64 or Via Marisol exits instead.
Additionally, the posted speed limit will be reduced by 10 mph in the construction zone. Signs alerting motorists of the closure and reduced speed limit will be posted.
Closures and lane reductions are subject to change due to weather or operational reasons.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, use caution near construction zones and expect potential delays. For real-time updates and additional information, please visit the Caltrans Quickmap.
This work is part of a $15.8 million project to upgrade existing bridge rails to current standards and increase the durability and longevity of the SR-110 at Avenue 60 bridge and three others on U.S. 101 at Alvarado Street, First Street and Santa Monica Boulevard/State Route 2 bridges on U.S. 101.
