Caltrans Announces Overnight Lane and Ramp Closures along US 101 in Ventura County

Overnight closures for Aug. 6 have been cancelled.

 

VENTURA COUNTY – Caltrans announces overnight lane and ramp closures for a pavement preservation project on northbound and southbound US 101 between Hampshire Road and Camarillo Springs Road.

 

Pavement work will take place overnight from Tuesday, August 4, through Friday, August 7, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. An extended overnight closure is also scheduled from Friday, August 7, to Saturday, August 8, between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.

 

Drivers traveling through this section of the freeway should expect overnight lane and ramp closures as follows:

 

Tuesday, August 4 to Friday, August 7 (Overnight)

The overnight lane and ramp closures scheduled from 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, to 6:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, have been cancelled. No overnight work or closures will occur during this time.

 

Northbound Route 101 Closures

 

• Mainline: Up to three lanes will close from Hampshire Road to Moorpark Road

   

  • One lane will close from Moorpark Road to Camarillo Springs Road

     

• On-ramps: Full closures will occur at the northbound on-ramps at the following locations:

   

  • Hampshire Road
  • Rancho Road
  • Borchard Road
  • Wendy Drive
  • Ventu Park Road

     

• Off-ramps: Full closures will occur at the northbound off-ramps at the following locations:

   

  • Rancho Conejo Boulevard
  • Wendy Drive

 

Southbound Route 101 Closures

 

• Mainline: Up to two lanes will close from Moorpark Road to Hampshire Road
  • Up to two lanes will close from Camarillo Springs Road to Moorpark Road
• On-ramps: Full closures will occur at the southbound on-ramps at the following locations:     
  • Wendy Drive

 

Friday, August 7 to Saturday, August 8 (Weekend Overnight)

Northbound Route 101 Closures

• Overnight lane and ramp closures repeat with extended morning hours, between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.

 

Southbound Route 101 Closures

• Overnight lane and ramp closures repeat with extended morning hours, between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.

The work is park of a pavement preservation project spans from Westlake Village through Thousand Oaks and Camarillo. Once complete, the project will extend the lifespan of the roadway and provide a smoother ride for motorists.
