Metro World Cup Enhanced Service offers direct bus service to all eight matches in L.A. from locations across SoCal.
LOS ANGELES — As Los Angeles prepares to host eight matches for the World Cup from June 12 to July 10, 2026, Caltrans encourages locals and visitors to use public transit through Metro for their match day travel to Los Angeles Stadium (SoFi Stadium) in Inglewood and avoid potential congestion on highways and roads in the area.
Caltrans is encouraging travelers to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and motorists who live and work near Los Angeles Stadium in Inglewood to plan ahead for extra time on their commute and expect delays on match days.
Metro, the Official Transit Provider for the Los Angeles World Cup, will operate direct bus service to World Cup matches from multiple locations across Los Angeles and Southern California to Los Angeles Stadium in Inglewood. With parking limited at Los Angeles Stadium, Metro is partnering with more than 10 regional transit providers and charter bus companies to make sure fans have a fast, affordable and stress-free ride to all eight matches in L.A. Metro World Cup Enhanced Service will be available on all match days: June 12, 15, 18, 21, 25, 28 & July 2, 10.

Service Details
- Schedule: Service begins approximately three to four hours before kickoff.
- Getting Home: Return service runs up to two hours after the match ends.
- Price: Just $1.75 per person, each way.
- How to Pay: TAP card, mobile wallet or contactless bank card.
- Accessibility: All trains, buses and shuttles are wheelchair and mobility device accessible. Service animals are welcome.

Additionally, construction projects along routes identified by Caltrans will be temporarily paused from 5 a.m. on match days to 5 a.m. the following day. Routes include: PCH, I-10, SR-91, US 101, I-105, I-110, SR-170, I-405, I-605 and I-710. Some emergency projects and routine maintenance will continue during match days as needed.
