Closures Between Rondell Street and Hydepark Drive Begin November 2025
Agoura Hills— Caltrans announces upcoming daytime full road closures on Agoura Road between Rondell Street and Hydepark Drive in the city of Agoura Hills as crews begin Stage 2 construction of the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing.
Stage 2 will complete the connection points from the north and south sides of the newly built bridge over U.S. 101 and finalize all landscaping work. Construction is anticipated to be concluded by late 2026.
ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULE - AGOURA ROAD
Agoura Road: Daytime Full Road Closures
· When: November 12, 2025 – June 2026
· Where: Agoura Road between Rondell Street and Hydepark Drive
· Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding major holidays.
Details:
· No through traffic of any kind – motorists, cyclists and pedestrians will be detoured around the construction zone. No exemptions will be made.
· Detours via U.S. 101 between Chesebro Road and Liberty Canyon Road
· Shuttle service available for pedestrians and cyclists. Information available below.
· Bus stops will be temporarily relocated
The schedule is subject to change due to weather or operational reasons.
SHUTTLE INFORMATION – AGOURA ROAD
During the full closure of Agoura Road free shuttles will be available for pedestrians and cyclists to navigate around the closed section of Agoura Road.
The shuttles will operate Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shuttles will begin their routes every 30 minutes.
The eastbound shuttle pick-up location will be at Dorothy Drive and Chesebro Road. The drop-off location will be at Liberty Canyon and Agoura Road.

The westbound shuttle pick-up location will be at Liberty Canyon and Agoura Road. The drop-off location will be Dorothy Drive and Chesebro Road.

BUS RELOCATION INFORMATION - AGOURA ROAD
During the full closure of Agoura Road bus routes located along this section of construction will be temporarily relocated.
More information regarding relocation will be announced later.
