This work is part of a $14.7 million project to repair and preserve bridges along I-10 in the cities of El Monte and Baldwin Park. Crews will be removing damaged sections, sealing joints and strengthening bridge decks to improve long-term safety and ride quality. These repairs will help prevent future damage, reduce maintenance needs and extend the life of the bridges for years to come. The project is expected to be completed by spring 2026.
