LOS ANGELES — Caltrans announces a 55-hour ramp closure on westbound Interstate 210 (I-210) at the northbound Sunland Boulevard on-ramp, starting Friday night, July 17, through Monday, July 20. The 55-hour ramp closure is necessary for work on a culvert drainage project on I-210 near Sunland Boulevard Undercrossing.
The following closure is subject to change and scheduled as follows:
Friday night, July 17 through Monday, July 20
Westbound I-210
- Closure of northbound Sunland Boulevard on-ramp to westbound I-210, from10 p.m. Friday, July 17 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 20
Motorists on the northbound Sunland Boulevard will detour using the southbound Sunland Boulevard on-ramp to westbound I-210: continuing north on Sunland Boulevard, west on Fenwick Street, east on Foothill Boulevard, and south on Sunland Boulevard to the westbound I-210 on-ramp.
Caltrans encourages motorists to watch for detour signs, allow extra travel time and to drive with caution in the area.

Due to weather or operational reasons, the schedule is subject to change including the times and dates, the number of closures and other details. This $7 million project will replace and rehabilitate culvert drainage systems, and replace guardrail and roadside signs, and upgrade wrong way pavement markers on Interstate 210 near Sunland Boulevard Undercrossing between post miles (PM) R11 to R11.5. It is expected to be completed in summer 2028. The contractor is Autobahn Construction, Inc.
