Project Description

The three projects below are safety projects that aim to reduce the collisions occurring on State Route 25 in San Benito and Santa Clara Counties.

Install Temporary Median Barrier and Crash Cushions

This project in Santa Clara County will install temporary median barrier, dynamic speed feedback signs, signing improvements such as intersection warning signs, as well as updated striping and pavement markings along State Route 25.

This project in San Benito County will construct a two-lane conventional/modular hybrid roundabout.

State Route 25 Highway Safety Improvements

This project in San Benito County will grind and pave/micro-surface, refresh striping and pavement markers, rumble strips, install reflectors on K-rail and Midwest Guardrail System, replace existing crash cushions with standard Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware compliant crash cushions, install channelizers, speed limit signs.
