Lane Closures on Highway 68 Near Monterey for Utility Work and Tree Removal Set to Begin Monday, September 28
MONTEREY COUNTY – Travelers on Highway 68 in Monterey County will encounter lanes closures with flagging operations starting Monday, September 28.
Crews will be replacing utility poles from Laureles Grade Rd. and Laguna Place Rd. overnight from 8 pm to 5 am on Monday, September 28 and Tuesday, September 29.
In addition, on Tuesday, September 29 and Wednesday, September 30 from 9 am to 1 pm drivers will encounter a flagging operation in both eastbound and westbound lanes for tree removal from Presido Blvd. to Skyline Rd.
Travelers can expect delays of up to 15 minutes. Please allow extra time for your commute through the area.
