Highway 17 Culvert and Vegetation Work to Close One Southbound Lane Near Scotts Valley
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Culvert and vegetation work will result in daytime closures of one lane of southbound Highway 17 in Scotts Valley.
Starting Wednesday, September 23 and continuing Thursday, September 24, travelers will encounter a closure of the #2 (right) lane from 8:30 am to 2 pm, between Glenwood Cutoff and Vine Hill Rd., just north of Scotts Valley.
Crews will be removing slide materials and vegetation, as well as cleaning ditches and drains.
Please allow extra time for travel through the area. Travelers can expect delays of between 10 and 15 minutes.
Message and directional signs will be in place to alert travelers.
Contracted crews will be utilizing a crane and removing trees for the safety of all travelers.
