OVERNIGHT TRAFFIC CONTROL ON US 101 FOR CONCRETE INSPECTION
IN ATASCADERO SET TO BEGIN TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY —Caltrans will begin overnight concrete inspection along a portion of US 101 in Atascadero beginning Tuesday, September 1.
Crews will work for one night to inspect approximately two miles of concrete along northbound and southbound US 101.
Closures and schedule will take place as follows:
- Travelers will encounter a single lane closure on southbound US 101 between Traffic Way and Curbaril Avenue Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 11 pm to 3 am.
- Travelers will encounter a single lane closure on northbound US 101 between Santa Rosa Road and Traffic Way Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 1 am to 6 am.
This work is important as crews inspect the integrity of the concrete for safety of the travelling public. No significant delays are expected during the inspection. Caltrans asks drivers to please take caution and slow down when traveling through a work zone.
