HIGHWAY 68 TREE WORK IN MONTEREY
SET TO BEGIN TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

MONTEREY COUNTY — Tree removal work expected to result in daytime shoulder closures along Highway 68 in Monterey set to begin Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Travelers will encounter daytime shoulder closures from 8:45 am to 3 pm for approximately two miles of Highway 68 near Ragsdale Dr. (PM 7.6) to the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch area (PM 9.25).

Travelers can expect minimal delays. Message and directional signs will be in place to alert drivers. Please take caution as crews will be working alongside the roadway.

Contracted crews will be removing seven trees for the safety of all travelers. This work is expected to be completed by Thursday, Sept. 3.
