HIGHWAY 46 WEST SET FOR ONE-WAY REVERSING
TRAFFIC CONTROL MONDAY, AUGUST 3

SANUL LUIS OBISPO COUNTY —Travelers in both directions of Highway 46 West will encounter daytime one-way reversing traffic control starting Monday, August 3.

Travelers can expect traffic control with a flagger and pilot car Monday through Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm and overnight Monday through Friday from 7 pm – 6 am.

Crews will be working along an 8-mile stretch of the roadway as they perform roadway repairs including full chip and slurry seal, install rumble strips, new traffic striping and pavement markers.

Message and directional signs will be in place as drivers approach the construction area. Travelers can expect delays of up to 15 minutes. Work is expected to be completed by September 25.

In addition, this work may also impact northbound and southbound traffic on Highway 1 as crews perform work near the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 46.
