EMERGENCY UTILITY WORK ON SOUTHBOUND HIGHWAY 9
IN FELTON TO RESULT IN TRAVEL DELAYS

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY — Travelers will encounter delays on Highway 9 in Felton beginning June 3 as crews perform emergency utility work.

Utility crews are working in the southbound lane of Highway 9 north of Graham Hill Road. The southbound right-hand turn lane will be closed at the intersection of Graham Hill Rd. and Felton Empire Rd. Drivers will still be able to turn right onto Felton Empire Rd.

These emergency utility repairs are expected to be completed by 5 pm Thursday, June 4. Crews will be on site overnight to advance these repairs.

Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of the project area. Please allow for extra time for your commute. Travelers can expect delays up to 15 minutes.
