OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES SET FOR US 101 BETWEEN PISMO BEACH AND ARROYO GRANDE

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY —An ongoing paving and enhancement project on US 101 between Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande continues with overnight lane closures. Travelers in both directions of US 101 between Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande will encounter alternating lane closures Sunday night through Friday morning from 7 pm to 7 am.

One lane in both directions of US 101 will always remain open during these overnight lane closures.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the project area as there is a difference in lane-to-lane pavement height between adjacent travel lanes in the work zones.

These lane closures are necessary to allow Caltrans to adjust temporary barriers and delineation for the project’s configuration.

This project will rehabilitate pavement, improve drainage systems, enhance highway worker safety and designate bikeways with pavement delineation.

The contractor for this project is Granite Construction of Santa Maria, CA.
