OVERNIGHT TRAFFIC CONTROL ON HIGHWAY 1 IN
WATSONVILLE BEGINS WEEK OF APRIL 27

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY — A project to improve northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 1 through Watsonville will result in overnight traffic control the week of April 27.

The project includes drainage work, electrical work and concrete work between Riverside Dr. (Hwy 129) and Larkin Valley Rd. All construction is weather dependent.

Detailed Road Closures from 7 pm to 6 am:

  • Sunday, April 26 through Friday, May 1
    Overnight traffic control on Hwy. 1 from Riverside Dr to Larkin Valley Rd.
  • Monday, April 27, through Thursday, April 30
    Overnight traffic control on Hwy. 1 near Main St.
  • Monday, April 27 through Thursday, April 30
    Overnight traffic control on Hwy. 1 near Airport Blvd.

Detailed Ramp Closures from 7 pm to 6 am:

  • Sunday, April 26 through Tuesday April 28
    Riverside Drive northbound on-ramp and off-ramp closure.
  • Monday, April 27, to Tuesday, April 28
    Northbound Main St. on-ramp closure.
  • Tuesday, April 28, through Friday, May 1
    Northbound Main St. on-ramp and southbound Main St. off-ramp closures.
  • Monday April 27, to Tuesday, April 28
    Northbound Airport Blvd. on-ramp and southbound Airport Blvd. on and off ramp closures.
  • Tuesday April 28, to Friday May 1
    Northbound Airport Boulevard off-ramp and southbound Airport Boulevard on-ramp closures. Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of the areas under traffic control. Please allow for extra time for your travels through the area.
