HIGHWAY 9 DAYTIME ONE-WAY REVERSING TRAFFIC CONTROL
CONTINUES DURING WEEK OF APRIL 20
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY — Travelers on Highway 9 will encounter daytime one-way reversing traffic control Monday through Friday at multiple locations during the week of April 20.
Projects Under Construction
The Highway 9 San Lorenzo River and Kings Creek Bridge Replacement Project is taking place north of Boulder Creek and involves the full replacement of these bridges for the safety of the traveling public.

Traffic control continues Monday, April 20 through Tuesday, April 28 from 7 am to 5 pm as crews install a temporary signal, establishing 24/7 traffic control at these locations.
The Highway 9 Upper Drainage and Erosion Control Improvements Project is improving the operation of key drainage systems along Hwy. 9 and will include culvert replacement, paving, and enhancement of erosion control systems. This work will take place between Brookdale and the junction with upper Hwy. 236.

- Erosion control work will take place Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24 from 9 am to 4 pm at:
- Menlo Rd. to Brimblecom Rd., Location 9, 10, & 11 PM 13.69 to 14.41
- Location 14 PM 15.98 (500ft North and South of Shadeland Rd)
- Crews will install a temporary traffic signal, which will establish 24/7 traffic control. Signal installation will occur from Monday, April 20th to Saturday, April 25th from 7 am to 5 pm at Pacific St. to Irwin way. Location 7 PM 11.66.
