DAYTIME AND OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES FOR PAVING PROJECT
ON US 101 IN MONTEREY COUNTY TO BEGIN NEXT WEEK

MONTEREY COUNTY — A paving project on US 101 from the Jolon Road undercrossing near King City to just north of Lagomarsino Ave. near Greenfield to begin Monday, April 6.

Construction crews will work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and overnight from 8 pm to 6 am.

This closure will allow for the grinding and paving of roughly eight miles of northbound and southbound US 101. The on and off-ramps of Jolon Rd. will intermittently be closed in both directions of US 101 as paving work in that area takes place.

Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of the areas under traffic control. Please allow for extra time for your travels through the area.

The contractor for this $19 million project is Granite Construction of Arroyo Grande, CA. Construction is expected to be complete by Summer 2028.
