24/7 TRAFFIC CONTROL STARTS ON HIGHWAY 1 NORTH OF
POINT SUR LIGHTHOUSE FOR EMBANKMENT REPAIRS
MONTEREY COUNTY — Crews established one-way traffic control this morning on Highway 1, just north of the Point Sur Lighthouse, at post mile 54.9.
This signalized control will be in effect over the next weeks as crews work to stabilize and repair the embankment at the edge of the southbound lane. Updates will be provided on the progress of repairs.
Travelers can expect delays of up to five minutes. Please allow for extra time during your travels through the area.
