Full Closure on Highway 1 In Oceano Near S. Halcyon Road for Winter Storm Preparations on Tuesday, October 27
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY – Travelers on Highway 1 in Oceano between Valley Road and S. Halcyon Road will experience a full lane closure on Tuesday, October 27 from 9 am to 1 pm to allow for maintenance work in preparations for the upcoming winter storm season.
Access will be maintained for emergency responders. Electronic message boards will be posted to alert the public. Allow time for travel around the closure.
This full highway closure is necessary so that Caltrans can perform maintenance work necessary to get ahead of the winter storms and to ease flooding impacts.
Travelers are encouraged to be aware of electronic message boards and all highway workers within these work zones.
