FULL OVERNIGHT CLOSURE OF SOUTHBOUND US 101 ON-RAMP
AT HIGHWAY 58 IN SANTA MARGARITA CONTINUES AUGUST 12

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — Travelers will encounter two more nights of full overnight closures of the southbound US 101 on-ramp at Highway 58 in Santa Margarita.

The initial overnight closure occurred during the week of August 3. Due to the additional time required to complete the culvert repair work, full overnight closures will continue to be in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, and Thursday, August 13.

The onramp will be open during the day, and the night closures are expected to be completed the morning of August 14.

Travelers needing to head southbound will need to detour north on El Camino Real towards Atascadero, turn left onto Santa Barbara Road to enter US 101 southbound.

Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of the areas under traffic control. Please allow for extra time for your travels through the area.
