Nighttime Closures of I-280 Northbound and Southbound Monterey Blvd. Ramps, July 7-9, 2025

Project Overview

The Highway Maintenance Bridge Project began in October 2024 to rehabilitate bridges on Interstate 280, on seven locations along a 10-mile stretch along the I-280 corridor. All repairs took place at night requiring full ramp closures. The purpose of the work was to prolong the useful service life and integrity of six bridges, at seven locations in the city and county of San Francisco.

This project included rehabilitating the bridges including placing polyester concrete overlay, replace joint seals, and repair asphalt concrete approaches at six bridges at seven locations.

The project will be completed by the end of July 2025.
