State Route 4 – Lane & Ramp Closures
Long-Term One-Way Traffic Control At Old River Bridge
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- 55-hour full highway closure from Roberts Road to Old River Bridge scheduled from 10:00 p.m. on August 14, until 5:00 a.m. on August 17, 2026.
- Long-term, 24-hour, one-way traffic control will be implemented on SR-4 at the Old River Bridge (San Joaquin/Contra Costa County line) for construction through November 2026.
- Vehicles measuring over 34 feet in length are strongly recommended to seek alternate routes. SR-12 or Interstate 205 are highway alternatives between Discovery Bay and Stockton.
- Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from SR-99 to the San Joaquin/Stanislaus County line for utility work beginning Sunday, August 16, through Friday, August 21, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Interstate 5 – Ramp & Lane Closures
Closures From State Route 33 To Sacramento County Line
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- Full connector ramp closure from southbound I-5 to SR-33 for sign work on Sunday, August 16, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
- Full connector ramp closure from northbound I-5 to SR-33 for sign work on Sunday, August 16, from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, August 16, through Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
- Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, August 16, through Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 12 – Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control For Tree & Utility Work
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 12/Victor Road (SR-12) in Lodi for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- Overnight, one-way traffic control from Kennison Lane to Tecklenburg Road for utility work beginning Wednesday, August 19, through Thursday, August 20, from 7:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
- One way traffic control from Beckman Road to Sunrise Street for tree work beginning Thursday, August 20, through Friday, August 21, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 26 – Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control For Pavement Work
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 26/Fremont Street (SR-26) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from SR-99 to Murray Road for shoulder work beginning Sunday, August 16, through Friday, August 21, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
Interstate 580 – Ramp Closures
Overnight Closures At Patterson Pass For Construction
San Joaquin County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:
- Overnight, full on- and off-ramp closures on eastbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction beginning Sunday, August 16, through Friday, August 21, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- Overnight, full on- and off-ramp closures on westbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction beginning Sunday, August 16, through Friday, August 21, from 9:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m.
