Project Initiation Document Workload

The Project Initiation Document (PID) workload consists of State Highway Operation and Protection Program (SHOPP) and Non-SHOPP projects located throughout each of Caltrans’ twelve districts.  Caltrans encourages our partners at local agencies, advocacy group representatives, and broadband providers to contact their local Deputy District Director of Planning regarding projects in the PID workload.
