Following approval of the 2025 Federal Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (FSTIP), amendments are processed as needed. FSTIP amendments are available for public review and comment concurrent with, or subsequent to, the public comment period for Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) amendments. To access FSTIP amendments currently available for public review, please refer to the MPO's web link under the MPO Amendments section below. Please note MPOs establish the length of the public review and comment period for amendments; therefore, they will vary by MPO.

Rural Non-MPO Amendments - Notice of Public Review & Comment Period - 2025 FSTIP

Amendment Number 27 to the Rural non-Metropolitan Planning Organization (Non-MPO) area portion of the 2025 California Federal Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (FSTIP) is available for public review and comment beginning March 9, 2026, through March 22, 2026, as required by the FSTIP Public Participation Plan. This amendment totaling $2.32 million adds one new project for transit, deleted nine projects, and modified two existing projects. The Tribal Transportation Program-Transportation Improvement Program (TTPTIP) and Federal Lands Highway (FLH) tribal projects are also added by reference.

The proposed changes are consistent with the FSTIP Amendment and Administrative Modification Procedures and do not require conformity determination. The financial impact of this amendment is compatible with the revenues in the 2025 California FSTIP Financial Plan and remains financially constrained. Please submit comments to Nerie R. Agacer-Solis or by phone at (916) 215-3382.
