California Coastal Commission Districts Map

The image is a map of California Coastal Commission Districts are color-coded to indicate the Caltrans Counties served. The color coding starts at the top, or north direction, of the map and heads south.

A blue line indicates Coastal Commission North Coast District, which serves Del Norte, Humboldt and Mendocino Counties.
Below that, a green line indicates the Coastal Commission North Central Coast District, which serves Sonoma, Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.
Below that, a yellow line indicates the Coastal Commission Central Coast District, which serves Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Luis Obispo Counties.
Below that, an orange line indicates the Coastal Commission South Central Coast District, which includes Santa Barbara, Ventura and Northern Los Angeles County.
Below that, a red line indicates the Coastal Commission South Coast District, which includes Southern Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
The last line, on the bottom or southern part of the map, is purple and indicates the Coastal Commission San Diego District, which includes San Diego County.
The map also marks Caltrans Headquarters in Sacramento and Coastal Commission Headquarters in San Francisco.
