2025 Job Order Contracting Annual Report

This is the Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program's annual progress report as required by Streets and Highways Code Section 217.1(f) (Senate Bill (SB) 146, Chapter 58, Statutes of 2023) by reflecting JOC activities through December 31, 2033. This report is prepared in accordance with paragraph (f) of Streets and Highways Code Section 217.1.

Job Order Contracting process is ideal for projects that involve non-complex, commonly encountered and repetitive tasks with a well-defined scope. At the time of this reporting, Caltrans is unable to provide a recommendation because no Job Order Contract projects have been completed. However, Caltrans will continue to utilize Job Order Contracting for projects that are defined in the statute.
