Pavement Rehabilitation Work Begins Soon on State Route 111 Palm Springs

Riverside, CA - Construction is coming soon along State Route 111 (SR-111) for a pavement rehabilitation project in the City of Palm Springs. This $17.7M project is funded through Senate Bill (SB) 1 the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 and will rehabilitate pavement conditions from Golf Club Drive to West Gateway Drive. The work limits are from postmiles 47.2 to 55.3. Work operations will require lane closures during daytime work hours from Monday through Friday.

SB 1 provides $5 billion in transportation funding annually split between the state and local agencies. Road projects progress through construction phases more quickly based on the availability of SB 1 funds, including projects that are partially funded by SB 1.
