UPDATE: Vincent Thomas Bridge Inspection Completed

San Pedro —Caltrans announces that only one night of full closure was needed to complete the structural inspections of the Vincent Thomas Bridge. The work was completed overnight on Monday, Oct. 20, between 10:15 p.m. and 6:45 a.m.

 

The overnight closure scheduled for October 21 did not take place, and the closures for October 27 and 28 are now canceled. The bridge will stay fully open on the remaining two nights.

 

Caltrans thanks the public for its patience during the inspection work and reminds drivers to stay alert and use caution when driving through construction zones.
