Project Overview
This $1.7 million bridge repair project will address damages to the southbound side of Sheldon Street Overcrossing.
The contractor is Interstate Civil Construction.
Benefits
Work involved removing all unsound concrete, replacing damaged bar, and patching the opening with concrete on the bridge superstructure.
Schedule
Construction is in progress. Anticipated completion in July 2026.
Work includes intermittent overnight lane closures and ramp closures on I-5 between Branford Street and Sheldon Street/Laurel Canyon Boulevard, and intermittent overnight street closures on Sheldon Street between Remick Avenue and Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
