Morro Road Soldier Pile Wall Project

Project Description

Caltrans plans to construct a soldier pile wall on State Route 41 near Morro Bay, about 3 miles east of the Route 1 and Route 41 separation. The embankment at this location has slipped after heavy rains and damaged the roadway. Construction of the wall would stabilize the steep embankment slope, protect the roadway, and restore the roadway to its previous configuration.
