Caltrans crews will perform safety improvement projects in Watsonville starting Monday, March 30, which will result in daytime and overnight closures of lanes along Highway 129 and 152.

Travelers will encounter a full overnight closure of southbound Highway 1 in Watsonville, between Buena Vista Dr. and Airport Blvd. on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26, from 9 pm to 6 am.

Travelers on Highway 1 north of Guadalupe will encounter one-way reversing traffic control near the Santa Maria River Bridge beginning Monday, March 23. Traffic control will be in effect from 8 am to 3 pm.

Travelers on State Route 135 in Santa Maria, between E. Battles Road and Inger Drive, will encounter overnight traffic control beginning Monday, March 23 as part of utility relocation work.

Travelers in both directions on Highway 101 south of Buellton will encounter an overnight traffic switch that will switch traffic from the inside lane to the outside lane starting Wednesday, March 25.

Construction continues on a major rehabilitation of State Route 183 (Merritt Street) in Castroville to enhance multimodal travel.

Travelers in both directions of Highway 154 will be moved on to a new traffic alignment on Friday, March 20, at approximately 3 pm.

Utility work in Montecito will result in overnight lane closures along Highway 192 on Thursday, March 19.
