Santa Clara 152 Pavement Rehabilitation Project
(Route 152 CAPM Project)
(Post Miles: 04-SCL-152-PM 7.6/M10.2)
This fast-tracked project is for pavement rehabilitation and will preserve and extend the life of the existing pavement and improve the ride quality in Santa Clara County in City of Gilroy on Route 152, from 0.3 mile west of Santa Teresa Blvd to Route 101.
PURPOSE & NEED:
The purpose of this project is to preserve and extend the life of the existing pavement and improve the ride quality.
The pavement condition within the limits of this project exhibits severe distress with open cracks in some locations, leading to unacceptable ride quality. If left uncorrected, the roadway condition will deteriorate to levels where major roadway rehabilitation might be required.
This project will grind and resurface existing asphalt pavement as well as upgrade traffic signals and existing non-standard ADA curb ramps.
